How Oracle Financial Services Software Pays
H1–H11 analytical career bands, compensation across 30 global locations, the selective OSU/option equity program, executive pay and insider trades, and the U.S. H-1B footprint for Oracle's India-listed financial-services software arm.
Career Levels
OFSS does not publish a numbered band catalogue, so this report uses an H1–H11 analytical hierarchy grounded in OFSS hiring records, U.S. LCA titles and the FY26 equity disclosures that name Distinguished Engineer, Senior Director, VP/RVP and KMP roles. Total Compensation Range by Band
Modeled annual cash CTC (base + target variable + employer-benefit load, excluding equity) for Bengaluru. H10–H11 are omitted — their broad executive ranges are covered in the Executive section.
Variable Pay Structure
OFSS does not publish a band-by-band variable-pay policy, payout formula or attainment history. The targets below are the modeled schedule used in the compensation tables.
Modeled Variable Target by Band
What Can Be Verified
Anecdotes Are Not Policy
The two public offer observations imply roughly 9.5–14.7% variable at junior-to-mid bands, broadly consistent with the modeled 5–20% schedule — but they are isolated, differently dated data points, not a payout history.
Payout History
Remuneration Trend ≠ Bonus Attainment
Median remuneration movement (+3% FY26, −1% FY25) is the closest public pay-trend signal, but it blends hikes, mix and attrition — it does not reveal what percentage of target variable was actually paid out in any year.
Equity & Stock Programs
OFSS runs a real but selective equity program: ₹5-strike OSUs and market-priced options under the OFSS Stock Plan 2014, plus Oracle Corporation options and ESPP access for group employees.
Equity is concentrated at Director level and above — no broad-based grant is evidenced
FY26 named awards cluster at Distinguished Engineer, Senior Director, VP/RVP and KMP. OSUs carry a ₹5 exercise price against a ₹11,735 share price (Aug 6, 2026), so they behave like near-full-value RSUs; FY26 options were struck at ₹8,565. Outstanding awards of 553,634 have an illustrative intrinsic value of ₹603.81 Cr ($63.41M).

Plan Capacity
Key Insight
OSUs and options have radically different economics: a ₹5-strike OSU captures nearly the whole share price, while a ₹8,565-strike FY26 option only pays off above that level. When negotiating a senior offer, ask which instrument is on the table — the FY26 weighted-average fair value per granted award was ₹7,395. Overseas employees may additionally hold Oracle Corporation options or ESPP access, whose terms OFSS does not disclose.
Executive Compensation — FY2025–26
Disclosed INR figures from the FY26 Annual Report. A leadership transition took effect on July 24, 2026; the new CEO's package is not yet publicly disclosed.
The Cash Headline Understates Total Reward
The ₹1.81 Cr figure excludes the stock-exercise perquisite, gratuity and compensated absence. The former CEO's four outstanding pre-FY26 OSU tranches (18,944 units at ₹5 strike) are worth roughly ₹22.2 Cr at the August 2026 share price — several times the annual cash figure.
Leadership Transition — July 24, 2026
Avadhut (Vinay) Ketkar (previously CFO) became MD & CEO and Manish Bhandari became CFO. The new CEO's compensation package is not yet publicly disclosed; as CFO, Ketkar received a 3,620-unit OSU grant in FY26.
| Name | Role | Total (FY26) |
|---|---|---|
| Makarand Padalkar | Then MD & CEO | ₹1.81 Cr |
| Jane Murphy | Independent Director | ₹75.0L |
| Mrugank Paranjape | Independent Director | ₹48.0L |
| Kavita Venugopal | Independent Director | ₹41.0L |
Bases differ: Infosys includes a ₹50.75 Cr stock-exercise perquisite and Wipro includes stock-option value, while the OFSS and TCS figures are cash-only headlines.
An Unusually Modest Cash Package
At 9× the median employee, the OFSS CEO cash ratio is an order of magnitude below TCS (332.8×) and Infosys (742×). Equity does the heavy lifting instead — prior-year OSUs and NRC-approved grants sit outside the cash table, so the disclosed headline is not comparable one-for-one with peers.
Insider Trades & ESOP Exercises
SEBI insider-trading disclosures indexed from exchange filings, plus the FY26–FY27 stock-plan allotment log. OFSS is NSE-listed; there is no SEC Form 4 trail because no ADRs/GDRs are outstanding.

Stock-Plan Allotments (FY26–FY27)
Aggregate employee exercises, not individual insider trades. The July 22, 2026 notice confirms no director participated.
Promoter Holding Snapshot
The small holding decline is consistent with ESOP dilution — an inference, not a transaction-level finding. OFSS has no ADRs/GDRs outstanding.
How to Read These Filings
The visible pattern is classic ESOP economics: insiders exercise OSUs at ₹5 and later sell at market prices above ₹11,000. The former CEO's September 2024 disposals (~₹9.1 Cr combined) were the largest named events. No material FY25–FY27 SAST transaction identified; the latest indexed historical event was a 3,716,000-share disposal reported in 2018.

Parental Return & Well-Being Signals
The FY26 BRSR reports parental-leave return rates of 100% for men and 99.2% for women (12-month retention 87.6% and 90.4%), and employee well-being spend of 0.9% of standalone revenue, up from 0.8% in FY25. Leave days, food coupons, cab, NPS, relocation and certification policies are not publicly disclosed company-wide — verify them offer-by-offer rather than assuming portal anecdotes are policy.
Performance Reviews & Pay Progression
The June–May appraisal cycle and 100% FY26 review coverage are disclosed; rating labels, bell curves and hike matrices are not. The progression model below is a planning aid, not OFSS policy.

What the Disclosure Gap Means
OFSS officially discloses only the review cycle and coverage. There is no public rating scale, forced-distribution quota, or hike-effective month — so any specific claim about an OFSS bell curve or increment matrix is unverified. Lateral hires can land above internal incumbents, but no public dataset quantifies the gap; the promotion hikes shown are internal-promotion scenarios for planning, and negotiated outcomes vary widely.
H-1B / LCA Visa Footprint
529 certified LCAs across FY2020–FY2026. OFSS filings use recognizable hierarchy titles — Staff, Senior, Principal, Senior Principal, Technical Manager, Director — making them an unusually strong U.S. pay anchor.

How to Use This Data
Certified LCA wages are guaranteed U.S. base salaries for a role and worksite — they exclude bonus and stock, and one worker can generate multiple filings through amendments and renewals. The title ladder (Staff → Senior → Principal → Senior Principal → Technical Manager → Director) maps cleanly onto the H3–H8 research bands, but a U.S. LCA wage should never be added to an Indian CTC as if it were an onsite allowance. Approval risk is low: FY23–FY25 I-129 approval ran 98–100%.
Key Nuances & Insights
OFSS is majority-owned by Oracle, but it is a separately listed Indian company with its own share plan and INR-listed stock. Parent Oracle Levels.fyi or RSU data are peer context, not OFSS pay.
FY26 named awards cluster at Distinguished Engineer, Senior Director, VP/RVP and KMP. No public evidence supports a standard recurring grant for entry through principal-consultant bands.
OSUs exercise at ₹5, while FY26 options were struck at ₹8,565. Counting both as identical “shares” overstates option value and understates OSU value.
The 12.5% authorisation is all-inclusive and based on issued capital from time to time. A simple current-capital comparison is useful, but it is not an audited remaining-share calculation.
