Band Hierarchy

Broadridge is unusual in this series: the career architecture is official and public, and the pay attached to it is not. The 2026 U.S. Associate Guide describes a globally aligned Global Career Framework of roughly 20 functions, 90 job families, eight career bands and 39 coded levels plus the CEO. It publishes no title-to-code map, no experience expectation by code, no salary range, no incentive target and no employee grant table, so the R-spine below normalises public pay observations across tracks and must not be read as a Broadridge grade.

VerifiedTwo rows in this ladder deliberately break the usual pattern. R6S carries specialised cloud and platform principals separately because folding a $210,000 midpoint into the $150,000 senior lead median would misstate both. R9 merges the director and senior director strata because the sources give a cross-function director envelope and a senior director posting range that overlap almost completely, and splitting them would imply a distinction the evidence does not support.

Track divergence

R1–R3
Operations, support and early engineering strata sit close together in the United States. The Strategy Analyst posting midpoint of $90,000 and the Levels.fyi software engineer point of about $100,000 base are only ten percent apart, and neither carries a routine equity grant in any observed record.
R4–R6
The senior individual contributor strata are the best-evidenced part of the ladder because Broadridge posts base ranges for them: $120,000 to $130,000 for a senior engineer, $135,000 to $145,000 for a lead and $145,000 to $155,000 for a senior lead.
R6S
Specialised cloud and platform principals post at $200,000 to $220,000, roughly forty percent above the generic senior lead at the same experience level. Specialisation, not seniority, produces the step.
R7–R9
The management strata are where function overwhelms level. Engineering-management postings run $200,000 to $250,000 while the cross-function director envelope runs $125,000 to $227,293. A finance director and a cloud engineering manager can sit in the same analytical stratum with a six-figure gap between them.
R11–R12
There is no published bridge between a $200,000 to $300,000 vice-president posting and a $2.11 million to $6.19 million named-executive total. Broadridge maps no title to an Executive E code, so the step between them is unlit.

Hierarchy qualifications and legacy structures

  • The eight career bands and 39 coded levels are official and appear in Broadridge's own U.S. Associate Guide. Nothing else about them is public.
  • No public source supports statements such as Software Engineer equals P2, Director equals M3 or Vice President equals E1. Any such claim is invented.
  • The R1 to R13 spine in this report exists only because salary platforms and job postings expose titles rather than framework codes. It is a comparison device, not a reconstruction of Broadridge's grades.
  • The guide's reference to legacy letter grades D through H is an Executive Retirement Savings Plan eligibility artifact as of 31 October 2024, not a current conversion table from the pre-2007 ADP structure.
  • Peer mapping is limited to generic title equivalence. Fiserv, FIS and SS&C grade numbers are not comparable to anything Broadridge publishes.
  • Broadridge does not disclose transfer rules, promotion gates, title equivalencies or the point at which a technical expert must move into management.

Peer-level mapping

BandArchetypePeer mappingCaveat
R1Analyst / Operations AssociateEntry analyst or junior engineer at Fiserv, FIS or SS&CGeneric title equivalence only. Broadridge publishes no crosswalk between its own career bands and any competitor grade, so a numeric peer mapping would be false precision.Base is the midpoint of a Broadridge Strategy Analyst posting at $85,000 to $95,000. The posting says bonus eligible without stating a target, and no routine equity grant is evidenced at this level, so the bonus is modeled at the low single-digit rate observed in the only published component split and equity is a real zero rather than a gap.
R2Associate Software EngineerAssociate or Engineer I at a comparable financial technology providerAnalytical stratum only. The R-spine normalises public pay observations across tracks and is not a Global Career Framework code.No United States posting or salary record sits between the Strategy Analyst midpoint and the Levels.fyi software engineer point, so this row is interpolated between them and marked modeled. The directly observed comparators are an India Member Technical total of ₹4.00 lakh to ₹7.00 lakh and a Canada Associate Software Engineer total of C$74,000 to C$89,000.
R3Software EngineerEngineer II or established analyst at Fiserv, FIS or SS&CScope-based orientation only. Broadridge exposes no code for this population and salary platforms report titles rather than levels. The only fully split component observation for an ordinary Broadridge employee: a Levels.fyi United States software engineer point of about $100,000 base, $2,400 bonus and $2,200 stock, reported as roughly $105,000 total. Every modeled bonus and equity figure elsewhere in this ladder is scaled from this single record.
R4Senior Software EngineerSenior Engineer or Senior Analyst at a comparable providerGeneric equivalence only; posting ranges are role and location specific rather than a published band.Base is the midpoint of a Broadridge Senior Software Engineer posting at $120,000 to $130,000, described as bonus eligible with no stated target. Bonus and equity are modeled from the R3 component split, since Broadridge publishes no short-term incentive target or long-term grant table for associates.
R5Lead Software Engineer / Technology LeadLead Engineer or first-line technical lead at a comparable providerThe lead stratum spans both expert individual contribution and first-line leadership; Broadridge publishes no rule for when a technical expert enters management.Base is the midpoint of a Broadridge Lead Software Engineer posting at $135,000 to $145,000. The India comparator is a Technology or Technical Lead total-pay envelope of ₹13.00 lakh to ₹22.00 lakh. Bonus and equity are modeled.
R6Senior Lead Software Engineer / ArchitectStaff or Principal Engineer, or a specialist lead, at a comparable providerGeneric equivalence only. Function drives the range at this stratum more than seniority does.Base is the midpoint of a Broadridge Senior Lead Software Engineer posting at $145,000 to $155,000. Specialised cloud and platform postings in the same stratum run materially higher and are carried as the separate R6S row rather than folded into this median.
R6SPrincipal Cloud / Platform SpecialistPrincipal or Distinguished specialist engineer at a comparable providerA specialisation premium rather than a higher rung. Do not generalise this range to every senior individual contributor at the same stratum.Base is the midpoint of specialised Broadridge cloud and principal postings at $200,000 to $220,000, roughly forty percent above the generic senior lead midpoint at the same experience level. Bonus and equity are modeled.
R7Manager / Engineering ManagerManager at Fiserv, FIS or SS&CThe posted range is drawn from engineering-management advertisements. Finance and operations managers at the same analytical stratum can be materially lower, which is the clearest example of function dominating level in this company.Base is the midpoint of a Broadridge Engineering Manager posting at $200,000 to $250,000. The Hong Kong comparator is a manager total of HK$921,000 to HK$988,000 and the United Kingdom comparator a project manager total of £59,000 to £110,000, both far below the United States anchor. Bonus and equity are modeled.
R9Director / Senior Director / AVPDirector or Senior Director at a comparable financial technology providerThe cross-function director envelope in the sources runs $125,000 to $227,293 with a $180,000 midpoint, and the senior director posting range runs $160,000 to $220,000. Those envelopes mix functions; this row uses the technology reading at the top of the evidence.Base is the FY2026 labour condition application offered wage of $227,293 for a Senior Director database role, the highest directly sourced director figure and the only one tied to a filing. Directors of software engineering in Canada post at C$150,000 to C$180,000 and an India Assistant Vice President is observed at ₹27.80 lakh to ₹38.00 lakh base. Bonus and equity are modeled.
R11Vice PresidentVice President at Fiserv, FIS or SS&CBroadridge does not map any title to an Executive E code, so a vice president here is a posting-derived stratum and not a disclosed executive level.Base is the upper-central point of a Broadridge Vice President posting envelope at $200,000 to $300,000, with VP Software Engineering observations near the top of that range. The India comparator is a vice-president base of ₹30 lakh to ₹56 lakh with reported additional pay of about ₹16.5 lakh. Bonus and equity at this level are modeled and are the least evidenced numbers in the ladder.
R12Named Executive OfficerNamed executive officers at FIS, SS&C and FiservThis row carries the FY2025 Summary Compensation Table figures for Thomas P. Employee directors receive no incremental director compensation under the disclosed programme.FY2025 director programme: a $100,000 annual cash retainer and a $200,000 annual equity retainer delivered in deferred stock units and options, generally granted in November. The lead independent director receives a further $140,000 split $72,500 cash and $67,500 equity.

Critical evidence warning

Every ordinary-employee figure in this report is an external observation. Broadridge publishes no salary range, no bonus target and no grant value for any of its 39 coded levels, so a posting midpoint, a crowdsourced point estimate or a visa filing wage is the strongest evidence available. India is the sharpest example of how unstable that is: Glassdoor puts a software engineer base central at ₹7.0 lakh while Levels.fyi reports a total point of ₹19.5 lakh, a gap far too wide to average away.

  • The anchor is the New York metropolitan area around the Lake Success headquarters. Broadridge posts base ranges for United States technology roles, and those postings plus one Levels.fyi component split are what every other market is calibrated against.
  • India factors come from the observed ratios rather than any company policy: a process analyst at roughly four percent of the United States analyst midpoint, a software engineer base at about seven percent of the United States base on Glassdoor, an assistant vice president at about fourteen percent of the United States director wage and a vice president at about nineteen percent of the United States posting midpoint.
  • United Kingdom factors come from a London software engineer base of £44,000 to £62,000 against the United States anchor, with the senior-end factors derived from project and product manager total-pay observations of £59,000 to £110,000 and £72,000 to £116,000.
  • Canada factors come from Toronto: an associate engineer total of C$74,000 to C$89,000, a Levels.fyi engineer total of C$99,800, a senior engineer total of C$97,000 to C$119,000 and a director of software engineering posting at C$150,000 to C$180,000, which is the source of the downward slope at the top of the Canadian ladder.
  • Australia, Ireland and Hong Kong carry flat factors because every observation in those markets is a single submission. Sydney's sample is sales-heavy, Dublin has one small engineering range and Hong Kong's four observations move in no consistent direction with seniority.

Model rules

  • All twelve United States locations carry a factor of exactly 1.00. Broadridge discloses no geographic pay differential and the captured visa views carried no reliable city medians, so inventing a Kansas City or Coppell discount would be fabrication rather than modelling.
  • India, the United Kingdom and Canada carry level-dependent factors because the sources show the gap narrowing or widening with seniority. Australia, Ireland and Hong Kong carry flat factors because the samples cannot support a curve.
  • Total compensation is rebuilt from base plus bonus plus equity in every band, with an all-other-compensation column only on the proxy rows. No notional employer benefit load, no statutory contribution and no perquisite value is added to any total.
  • Executive rows are excluded from the range chart. Their anchor figures are single worldwide proxy disclosures and applying a city factor to them produces a meaningless number, which is why they carry the highest seniority values and are flagged rather than plotted.
  • Foreign exchange is a single snapshot taken on 24 August 2026. Local pay does not reset when a rate moves, so the converted figures are for comparability only.
  • City evidence is never manufactured from country evidence. Hyderabad, Mumbai, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Markham, Montreal and Melbourne all carry their country calibration explicitly, and the profile column says so.

Variable Pay & Annual Cash Incentive

Broadridge names its incentive plans and publishes none of their rates. The Associate Guide identifies five short-term incentive plan families, generally aligned to the 30 June fiscal year, without a single target percentage, payout curve, eligibility code or payment month for ordinary associates. Only the named-executive layer is quantified, and it is quantified in full.

ModeledVerifiedThe proxy describes FY2025 named-executive cash payouts as roughly 95 to 98 percent of target. The target column here is computed from each disclosed target percentage applied to disclosed salary, which reproduces the outcome for four of the five officers; the chief financial officer's figure is stated as the transition-weighted target implied by her disclosed attainment, because her December 2024 appointment means salary times 84 percent does not reconstruct her opportunity. Payout history is disclosed only for this population: approximately 92 to 106 percent of target in FY2023 and 115 to 127 percent in FY2022.

Employee payout timing and history

No employee payout history exists in public sources at any level below the named executives. Broadridge publishes no bonus target grid, no threshold or maximum curve, no eligibility rule by career-framework code and no payment month. The proxy states that client satisfaction is part of every full-time associate's compensation, which implies a broader scorecard component than the 5 percent weighting shown in the executive table, but the associate-level weight is not disclosed.

Sales and special incentives

The Associate Guide confirms that targeted sales short-term incentive plans exist for eligible sales roles, and the Global Career Framework carries dedicated Sales Professional S1 to S6 and Sales Management K1 to K5 bands. No commission rate, quota mechanic, accelerator, cap or eligibility formula is public. The only sales-adjacent pay observations in the bundle are three single-submission Australian ranges: a pre-sales director at A$212,000 to A$231,000 and a sales director at A$195,000 to A$213,000 in total pay.

Equity — RSUs, PSUs, Options & ESPP

Equity mechanics are official and the employee threshold is not. The 2018 Omnibus Award Plan is the live vehicle, options and both time-based and performance RSUs are all actively granted, and the Associate Guide says employee awards depend on Global Career Framework job level or grade and performance. What it never says is which code qualifies, what an ordinary associate receives or how often.

Permits incentive and non-qualified stock options, stock appreciation rights, restricted stock, restricted stock units, phantom stock, stock bonuses and performance awards. Options are priced at fair market value on the grant date, generally vest ratably over four years and carry a ten-year term. Named-executive performance RSUs use a three-year performance period with payout between 0 and 150 percent of target.

  • FY2026 grant activity was 539,247 stock options at a $191.77 weighted-average exercise price and a $46.64 weighted-average grant-date fair value, 262,266 time-based RSUs at a $216.06 weighted grant-date fair value and 122,962 performance RSUs at $217.50.
  • Options exercised during FY2026 totalled 207,291 shares at a $104.01 weighted exercise price, with a company-reported aggregate intrinsic value of about $29.0 million.
  • FY2026 stock-based compensation expense was approximately $121.1 million. Unrecognised expense at year end was about $51 million for options, $64 million for time-based RSUs and $15 million for performance RSUs.
  • The 4.8 million shares remaining are a plan reserve, not an accounting liability and not a pool of employee wealth. At the $184.82 reference share price that reserve is worth roughly $887 million on a gross basis only.
  • Grant-date fair value for options is a model output that reflects volatility, expected term and other assumptions. It is not the spread between the exercise price and the market price and should never be read as one.

The four-year ratable schedule is the general option rule disclosed in the FY2026 Form 10-K; individual award agreements can differ. Named-executive performance RSUs do not follow it: they run a three-year performance period and settle at 0 to 150 percent of target. No FY2025 performance RSU settlement occurred because Broadridge moved from two-year to three-year periods, which is a timing artifact and not a zero-performance year.

Eligibility by hierarchy level

  • The mechanism is official: the Associate Guide says long-term incentive grants are based on Global Career Framework job level or grade and performance, and may take the form of RSUs, performance RSUs or stock options.
  • The threshold is not. No public source establishes a minimum qualifying code, an ordinary-employee grant value, a grant frequency or a percentage-of-salary target, so statements such as equity starts at lead level or a P4 receives a set number of shares have no support.
  • The only fully evidenced employee equity figure anywhere in the sources is $2,200 of annualised stock in one United States software engineer record. Every other equity number in this report's ladder is modeled and labelled as such.
  • Non-employee directors receive a $200,000 annual equity retainer delivered in deferred stock units and options, with a further $67,500 equity component for the lead independent director.
  • Broadridge shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange, so no secondary-market liquidity programme is needed for Indian employees. Brokerage, foreign-asset reporting, foreign-exchange and local tax rules still apply to them.
  • Restricted awards ordinarily require continued employment through the applicable dates and can be forfeited on departure, subject to the plan and award terms.

VerifiedNo broad employee stock purchase plan appears in the FY2026 Form 10-K or the 2025 proxy, so United States associates have no discounted purchase route alongside their grants. This is the single largest structural difference between a Broadridge package and a typical large-cap technology package, where a 15 percent discounted plan with a lookback is often the most predictable value an ordinary employee receives.

FY2025 is the latest definitive named-executive year, one fiscal year behind the FY2026 financial and equity accounting used elsewhere in this report. Five officers are disclosed in full, and everything below them is dark.

Reading the package

Salary is about 6.3 percent of the chief executive's FY2025 reported total and equity about 78 percent, split almost evenly between $6,459,215 of stock awards and $6,953,485 of option awards. That option weighting is the distinguishing feature of Broadridge's design: the FY2025 long-term target of roughly $13.3 million was structured about half in options and half in performance RSUs, so a large share of the reported package only produces value above a $191.77-era exercise price. Grant-date accounting values are not cash received.

CEO-to-median-employee ratio
216:1
Median employee $79,503 · The proxy calculation uses $17,211,941 of chief executive compensation, which includes applicable benefits and therefore exceeds the $17,188,658 Summary Compensation Table total, against a median associate at $79,503. The ratio is a statutory disclosure computed on a global workforce of roughly 16,000 people across 28 countries; it is not adjusted for geography or job mix, and Broadridge's large India delivery population pulls the median down in a way a United States-only employer's would not..

Fiserv 2026 proxy statement

Broadridge's disclosed chief executive total sits below all three of these public comparators, but the ranking is fragile. The Fiserv figure is inflated by first-year replacement and sign-on awards, the SS&C figure reflects a founder-chief executive with a very different ownership and design position, and none of the four companies is the same size or at the same point in its performance cycle. Employee pay competitiveness cannot be inferred from any of it.

Named Executive Officers & Board

Public corporate materials identify Timothy Gokey as chief executive and Christopher Perry as president, alongside the chief financial officer, segment presidents and functional officers. The Global Career Framework places Executive levels E1 to E4 below the chief executive, but Broadridge maps no named individual to an E code.

Ashima Ghei was appointed chief financial officer in December 2024, so her FY2025 row is not a full-year chief financial officer package: her $145,549 of stock awards against $888,793 of option awards reflects a transition design rather than a steady-state mix, and her annual incentive target was blended to about 84 percent. Christopher Perry joined the board alongside Trish Mosconi in February 2026 and receives no incremental director compensation as an employee director. Peter Reali was appointed to lead the institutional governance business in March 2026, with no individual compensation disclosed.

Lead independent director additional retainer$140,000Split $72,500 in cash and $67,500 in equity on top of the standard retainers
Employee directorsNo incremental compensationDirectors who are also employees receive nothing additional for board service

A non-employee director's disclosed programme value of $300,000 is roughly 3.8 times the $79,503 median associate compensation used in the pay-ratio calculation, and roughly two thirds of it is equity. Committee chair and membership fees beyond the lead independent director arrangement are not separately itemised in the sources used here.

Regional heads and other officers

Compensation for every leader outside the five named executives is not public. There is no vice-president table, no executive-level range and no disclosure for the Executive E1 to E4 population as a whole. A leader's pay becomes visible only if they become a named executive officer or if material employment terms are separately filed.

Reading guide

A zero price is not a zero valueSix of these nine filings report a $0 transaction price. That is the reporting convention for an award acquisition or settlement, not a statement that the award is worthless. Gross market reference, withholding and any later sale proceeds are three separate measures.
Plan-linked sales read differently from discretionary onesOnly the August 2025 chief executive sale is explicitly tied to a Rule 10b5-1 plan adopted before the trade. A sale under a plan can reflect diversification or tax planning; the filing itself establishes no motive either way.
One purchase, several settlementsThe March 2026 open-market purchase of $1.031 million by the chief executive is the only acquisition in this set that involved his own cash. Everything else in August 2026 is equity the company had already granted arriving at the end of its cycle.
Settlement timing is a design artifactThe August 2026 cluster reflects the completion of a performance cycle under the three-year design. No performance RSUs settled in FY2025 at all, because Broadridge was moving from two-year to three-year periods.

Benefits & Perks

United States benefits are documented in unusual detail because Broadridge publishes a current Associate Guide. Every other market in this report shows statutory floors, because no comparable official local guide was located for India, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland or Hong Kong.

Global programs

  • CareerGlobal Career Framework. A globally aligned architecture of roughly 20 functions, 90 job families, eight career bands and 39 coded levels plus the chief executive. It is the clearest piece of compensation infrastructure Broadridge publishes, and the pay attached to each code is entirely absent. [official]

It publishes no granular test outcome, no adjusted or unadjusted gap and no remediation figure. [official]
  • MeritAnnual base-pay review. United States base pay is generally reviewed annually against individual performance, market movement and an approved budget, using salary as of 30 June with a 31 March participation cutoff and manager-allocated merit pools. Benefit fields not publicly quantified

The asymmetry here is the finding, not a gap in the research. Broadridge publishes a detailed current United States Associate Guide and no verified local equivalent anywhere else, so a reader comparing a Bangalore offer with a Lake Success offer can compare statutory floors against a full plan design and nothing more. Provident Fund treatment above the statutory rate, India medical sum insured and parent cover, United Kingdom employer pension rate and private medical, Australian super above 12 percent, and every Canadian, Irish and Hong Kong company benefit remain undisclosed.

What the guide does disclose about the United States cycle is specific: base salary is generally reviewed annually against individual performance, market movement and an approved budget; associates generally must start by 31 March to participate, with specified trainees and contingent workers excluded; the process uses salary as of 30 June and prorates the target by eligible days; and managers receive a merit pool they may allocate above or below individual targets while staying within it. That last mechanic matters more than it looks, because it means two associates with identical ratings in different teams can receive different increases without any policy being broken.

Pay progression evidence

The promotion timings shown in this report's ladder are external career-market estimates and not company policy. Broadridge quantifies no promotion velocity, no time-in-level expectation and no promotion increase, and salary platforms cannot tell a promotee from a new hire or an internal transfer, so no internal-versus-external comparison is possible from public data. The one structural fact worth carrying is that the framework's parallel Professional, Sales, Management and Executive bands confirm that a technical expert is not forced into management to progress, without disclosing where the tracks diverge or what it costs to switch.

TitleWorksiteProffered wageNotes
Senior Director, databaseUnited States$227,293The FY2026 maximum and the figure this report uses as the R9 anchor base, because it is the only director-level number tied to a filing rather than a posting envelope.
Median FY2026 filingUnited States$137,962Sits between this report's R5 and R6 anchor bases, which is roughly where a sponsored senior technology role would be expected to fall.
Lowest FY2026 filingUnited States$97,406Close to the R3 software engineer anchor base of $100,000 and the only FY2026 wage below six figures.
FY2025 rangeUnited States$67,143 to $333,119110 filings at a $144,623 median. The width of the range across a single year shows how much role scope rather than level drives these numbers.

Reading the data correctly

  • An offered wage is a base salary tied to a specific sponsored role and location. It excludes bonus, equity, retirement contributions and every benefit, so it is not comparable to the total compensation figures in this report's ladder.
  • Labour condition applications, job vacancies and adjudicated immigration petitions are conceptually different units, and the three aggregators covering Broadridge define and refresh them differently. Merging their counts produces a number that describes nothing.
  • Sponsored roles skew technical and skew toward the worksites that concentrate them, so this sample is not representative of Broadridge's roughly 16,000 associates or even of its United States population.
  • The FY2026 count of 23 is small because the fiscal year was still open at the research date, and small samples move sharply with one filing.
  • No city median is claimed anywhere in this section. Coppell, Edgewood, Newark and New York recur as worksites, but reliable city percentiles were not available in the captured public views.

Key Nuances & Insights

01The framework is official and the pay is not

Broadridge publishes eight Global Career Framework career bands and 39 coded levels plus the chief executive in its own Associate Guide. It publishes no title-to-code map, no code-level experience expectation, no salary range, no incentive target and no employee grant table. Every ordinary-employee number in this report therefore comes from outside the company.

02The R-spine is a comparison device, not a reconstruction

R1 through R13 exists only because salary platforms and job advertisements expose titles rather than framework codes. It normalises observations across the operations, technical, management and executive tracks so they can be compared. Reading it as a crosswalk to W, B, T, S, P, K, M or E would be a mistake.

03Function can outrank level

Engineering-management postings run $200,000 to $250,000 while the cross-function director envelope runs $125,000 to $227,293. A cloud engineering manager and a finance director can occupy the same analytical stratum with a gap of more than $100,000 between them, which is why this report anchors the management rows on the technology reading and says so.

04Specialisation buys more than a promotion does

Specialised cloud and platform principal postings sit at $200,000 to $220,000 against a $145,000 to $155,000 generic senior lead range at comparable experience. That forty percent step is a scarcity premium on a skill, not a higher rung on the ladder, and it is carried as a separate row rather than averaged into the median.

05India sources disagree by nearly three times

Glassdoor puts an India software engineer base central at ₹7.0 lakh while Levels.fyi reports a total point of ₹19.5 lakh for the same title. Different samples, tenure, business units, reporting dates and total-pay definitions can all produce that. This report preserves both signals and refuses to average them, because the midpoint of two incompatible measures describes nobody.

06Country evidence is not city evidence

Hyderabad, Mumbai, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Markham, Montreal and Melbourne all carry their country's calibration explicitly, because no Broadridge city-level pay observation exists for any of them. No city-level headcount is disclosed either, so this report never claims Bengaluru is larger than Hyderabad.

07The equity threshold is the missing number

The Associate Guide confirms that long-term incentive awards depend on career-framework level or grade and performance, and that RSUs, performance RSUs and options are all used. Which code qualifies, what an ordinary associate receives and how often are all absent, and no public statement supports a claim that equity begins at any particular level.

08There is no employee stock purchase plan

No broad purchase plan appears in the FY2026 Form 10-K or the 2025 proxy. For a reader comparing a Broadridge offer with a large-cap technology offer, the absence of a 15 percent discounted plan removes what is often the most predictable piece of an ordinary employee's equity value.

09A zero Form 4 price is a convention, not a valuation

Six of the nine insider filings shown here report a $0 transaction price because they record award settlements. Gross market reference, tax withholding and later sale proceeds are three separate measures, and none of them is zero.

10The performance-RSU cycle transition distorts year-on-year reading

No performance RSUs settled in FY2025 because Broadridge moved from two-year to three-year performance periods. That is a timing artifact. Reading it as a failed performance year, or comparing FY2025 realised equity with FY2023 on equal terms, would be wrong.

11Executive data lags financial data by a year

FY2026 revenue, headcount, grant activity and share-plan reserve are all available, while the latest definitive named-executive table is FY2025. Every executive figure in this report is therefore one fiscal year behind every operating figure beside it.

12The pay ratio reflects a global workforce

The 216 to 1 ratio uses a $79,503 median associate drawn from roughly 16,000 people across 28 countries, including a India population reported at about 5,500. A United States-only employer with the same executive package would disclose a materially lower ratio, so cross-company ratio comparisons are close to meaningless without the workforce mix beside them.

13Australian evidence is sales-heavy and tiny

Every Australian observation in the sources is a single submission, and two of the three are sales-function roles. They are enough to place the market roughly and not enough to support a technical or operations band table, which is why Sydney and Melbourne carry flat factors with no seniority curve.

14The legacy letter grades are not a conversion table

The Associate Guide's reference to letter grades D through H appears only in Executive Retirement Savings Plan eligibility as of 31 October 2024. It is not a bridge from the pre-2007 ADP structure or from any acquisition to a current framework code, and no such bridge is public.

Research control

Against Fiserv, FIS and SS&C, Broadridge discloses the least about employee pay and among the most about career structure. Its chief executive total of $17.19 million is the lowest of the four, though the Fiserv figure is distorted by first-year replacement awards and the SS&C figure by founder ownership. On employee compensation there is no meaningful comparison to make: none of the four publishes a salary band, and the observation samples for Broadridge are thinner than for a comparable technology employer of similar size because a large share of its population sits in operations and delivery roles that salary platforms cover poorly.

Evidence classification

LabelMeaningExamples and permitted use
VerifiedA filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, an official Broadridge publication such as the Associate Guide or office directory, a government rule, or a Broadridge job posting with a stated base range.Used as primary evidence with its date and scope preserved. Every executive, equity, benefit and career-framework figure in this report is of this class.
ReportedA public administrative dataset derived from filings, such as a labour condition application wage, or an established salary platform observation with a visible Broadridge sample.Used for role-specific wages and market context, never generalised to the whole population, and shown with the source conflict intact where two platforms disagree.
ModeledAn anchor observation carried to another city by a calibration factor and a single foreign-exchange snapshot, or a bonus or equity component scaled from the one published component split.Planning envelope only. The bonus and equity columns for every band above R3 are of this class, as is every non-anchor city cell.
Not publicly disclosedA field with no public evidence at any grade.Stated as undisclosed rather than filled with an industry estimate. The employee incentive target grid and the equity eligibility threshold are the two largest examples.

Known gaps and diligence before relying on a cell

  1. 1The bonus and equity columns for bands R1 through R11 are modeled, not disclosed. Broadridge publishes no employee incentive target and no employee grant table, so those figures are scaled from the single Levels.fyi component split at R3 within the named-executive target band of 84 to 150 percent. They are planning envelopes and should not be quoted as Broadridge targets.
  2. 2The R2 row has no direct United States observation and is interpolated between the R1 posting midpoint and the R3 Levels.fyi point. It is the only fully modeled base in the ladder.
  3. 3The R9 row merges the director and senior director strata and anchors on the $227,293 FY2026 senior director visa wage rather than the $180,000 cross-function director envelope midpoint. Using the midpoint would have placed directors below engineering managers, which is what the raw sources show but which reflects function mix rather than a real inversion of the ladder.
  4. 4The R12 and CEO rows are single worldwide proxy disclosures and are marked chart-excluded. They carry the two highest seniority values, which means the India, United Kingdom and Canada top-of-ladder factors interpolate toward them; the factors themselves were calibrated at the vice-president level, so the executive cells in those markets should be read as arithmetic rather than as evidence of what a country executive earns.
  5. 5All twelve United States locations carry a factor of exactly 1.00. Broadridge discloses no geographic differential and the captured visa views carried no city medians, so no Kansas City, Coppell or El Dorado Hills discount is applied even though one almost certainly exists.
  6. 6Eleven verified or requested Broadridge locations from the source bundle are omitted from the pricing table entirely, because they carry no Broadridge pay evidence of any kind: Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, Zurich, Stockholm, Warsaw, Bucharest, Luxembourg, Singapore, Tokyo and Mexico City.
  7. 7The two India sources conflict by nearly three times at the software engineer level. The India calibration in this report follows the Glassdoor base observations because they cover more strata, and the Levels.fyi total points are recorded separately rather than blended in.
  8. 8No notional employer benefit load is added anywhere. Total compensation is rebuilt from base plus bonus plus equity, with an all-other-compensation column only on the two proxy rows, so the totals here are pay rather than employer cost.
  9. 9The chief financial officer's incentive target in the outcomes table is stated as the transition-weighted target implied by her disclosed attainment, because her December 2024 appointment means salary multiplied by the disclosed 84 percent does not reconstruct her actual opportunity.
  10. 10India headcount is reported at two different figures a year apart: a plan to reach about 6,800 technology staff reported in January 2025 and about 5,500 total associates reported in November 2025. Neither is a company filing, and the two count different populations, so both are carried rather than reconciled.

Recent News & Workforce Trend

No broad employee salary-hike announcement, pay freeze, compensation cut or restructuring charge tied to employee pay was located for FY2025 or FY2026. What the record does contain is a large India expansion, a chief financial officer transition, a chief executive open-market purchase and a cluster of performance award settlements.

Attrition employees
No consolidated or voluntary attrition rate appears in the FY2026 disclosures, and no industry rate is substituted here.

Broadridge discloses a single global headcount and a country count and nothing else. The two India figures come from a news report and a trade interview a year apart, count different populations and cannot be reconciled into a series, so both are carried as they were reported. United States and other country headcounts cannot be derived from the FY2026 Form 10-K at all.

16 Dec 2024
Ashima Ghei appointed chief financial officer

The midyear appointment changed her FY2025 incentive target to a weighted approximately 84 percent and produced an unusual long-term award mix of $145,549 in stock awards against $888,793 in option awards. Her FY2025 row is not a full-year chief financial officer package and should not be read as one.
