How Anduril Pays

Anduril's L3 to L8 technical ladder and Director through SVP title tiers, priced across 14 markets alongside private options and restricted stock units on a four-year vest, a $516,837 principal-engineer package that is 49 percent equity, and only two H-1B filings on record.

Band Hierarchy

Anduril publishes no grade catalogue. The L3 to L8 technical ladder is reconstructed from a third-party salary database cross-checked against current Anduril job titles, while Manager, Director, Senior Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President are titles Anduril itself uses in public materials. No Executive Vice President layer is evidenced, so the practical senior sequence is Vice President, Senior Vice President, then the C-suite.

Disclosed executive layer

Co-founders and C-suite
Brian Schimpf as chief executive, Matt Grimm as chief operating officer, Palmer Luckey as co-founder, Christian Brose as chief strategy officer
No current compensation disclosure exists. The only public figures are historical federal contractor transparency totals of $19.17 million, $13.77 million, $10.92 million and $2.35 million on estimated 2021 and 2023 bases.
Senior Vice Presidents
Senior Vice President of Strategy, of Manufacturing, of Engineering and of Global Defense
The title is used repeatedly in Anduril's own materials but carries no published pay range. Historical contractor reporting shows about $2.21 million and $2.01 million for two Senior Vice Presidents on estimated 2022 bases.
Vice Presidents
Vice President of Quality, Vice President of Hardware Test and Evaluation
Vice President roles are advertised with statutory base ranges, giving a sampled $228,000 to $336,000 cash envelope. Equity is stated but never quantified.
Directors and Senior Directors
Director of Advanced Design, Director of Business Development, Senior Director of Planning
Sampled posted base ranges of $191,000 to $336,000 for directors and $220,000 to $292,000 for senior directors. One historical Vice President figure of about $1.74 million appears in contractor reporting.
Board and Executive Chairman
Executive Chairman and the private board of directors
Private-company board compensation is not published. There are no director retainers, committee fees or annual equity awards on any public record.
VerifiedOnly the Director, Senior Director and Vice President base rows carry an official Anduril disclosure, and those are posted ranges rather than internal bands. Everything else is reconstructed from employee-submitted records or recorded as not publicly disclosed.

Track divergence

L3 to L4
Cash still dominates. Annualized equity is 24.3 percent of the reported package at L3 and 32.1 percent at L4, and the observed cash bonus is barely above one percent of base at both levels.
L5 to L6
Base pay compresses while equity expands. The national base gap between L5 and L6 is about $12,000, but annualized stock crosses 40 percent of total compensation at both levels. This is the point where a cash-only comparison with a defence prime starts to mislead badly.
L7 and above
Equity almost equals base. Reported L7 annualized stock of $255,137 sits against $259,200 of base, or 49.4 percent of the package. L8 is a real title with no reliable public pay sample.
Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President
Posted cash bands overlap heavily with senior individual contributor cash and with each other, and the sampled senior director envelope sits inside the sampled director envelope. Seniority is expressed through scope and equity, neither of which Anduril quantifies publicly.

Hierarchy qualifications and legacy structures

  • The L3 through L8 numbering comes from a third-party salary database. Anduril does not publish level codes, level definitions or a title-to-level map, and its early-careers page describes recent graduates only as typically nought to two years post-graduation.
  • Experience ranges in this report are market interpretation. Anduril appears willing to level on scope, critical skills and programme need rather than a tenure clock, and no years-per-level schedule is published.
  • Non-engineering role families are reported only as whole-family medians rather than by level: Mechanical Engineer at $200,188, Hardware Engineer at $189,500, Electrical Engineer at $227,036, Technical Program Manager at $209,063, Business Operations at $232,500, Program Manager at $282,465, Chief of Staff at $326,625 and Sales at $278,385. Those medians are carried here as context rather than as priced bands, because they have no published base, bonus and equity split.
  • A $735,000 Software Engineering Manager figure and a $348,831 page-level Software Engineer aggregate both appear in the same public dataset. Both rest on small or mixed samples and neither is used as a band anchor in this report.
  • There is no evidence of a standard Executive Vice President tier. Assuming one from other companies would invent a layer Anduril does not appear to run.
  • Chief Architect, Technical Director and Head of function titles appear in current postings at principal-equivalent scope, but no public source maps them onto the numeric ladder.

Critical evidence warning

Anduril is privately held and publishes no salary bands, no grade codes and no total-compensation figures. The only official pay disclosure is the base-salary range on each United States job advertisement, which the advertisement itself states is base only and excludes the equity included in the majority of full-time offers. Every total-compensation figure in this report is an employee-submitted observation or a calibration built on one, and should be used for orientation rather than quoted back as an Anduril band.

Anduril publishes no city-level headcount, so this catalogue does not rank offices by employee count. Several evidenced locations are deliberately absent from the priced table because no public pay observation of any kind exists for them: Llanbedr in Wales, Dublin, Brussels, Tokyo and Okinawa, Taipei, Riyadh, and the emerging India presence represented by a remote Global Supply Chain Integration Lead role. Country benefit pages exist for the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, which confirms employment infrastructure in those markets without disclosing pay.

  • The Costa Mesa column is the anchor and represents the Greater Los Angeles market that contains the headquarters, Irvine and Long Beach. L5, L6 and L7 use the directly observed Greater Los Angeles slice; L3 and L4 use the national average because no Los Angeles slice is published at those levels.
  • Seattle and Boston are the only other United States markets with a direct pay slice. Their factors are the mean of the level-by-level ratios against Greater Los Angeles, because the underlying samples are small and not internally monotonic: Boston L6 reads below Boston L5, and Seattle L6 reads below Seattle L5.
  • United States sites without a pay observation are carried at the anchor rather than given an invented differential. Anduril advertises a single base range per role rather than a per-city ladder, so a national posting range is the best available evidence for those markets.
  • Australia is priced as one national market across Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, because no city-level Anduril observation exists. The factors run from 0.46 of the Costa Mesa base at the most junior band to 0.85 at the most senior, reflecting third-party estimates that rise from about A$105,000 for an associate engineer to A$190,000 to A$259,000 for a staff engineer.
  • London is anchored on a directly observed median package of about £147,667, roughly $201,425, with a representative split near $135,000 base and $60,900 of annual stock. That maps to a 0.63 base and 0.62 total factor against Costa Mesa, applied flat because no level-by-level London series is published.

Model rules

  • Every modeled cell is the Costa Mesa median multiplied by the location base or total factor and then by the 25 August 2026 foreign-exchange snapshot of 1 US dollar to 1.3974 Australian dollars and 0.733115 pounds.
  • A total compensation cell is base plus observed cash bonus plus annualized equity value. Sign-on payments, relocation such as the $20,000 seen in one Seattle offer, and one-time retention awards are excluded.
  • No employer benefit load is added anywhere. Superannuation, pension, medical premiums and payroll taxes are employer cost, not pay, and folding them into a total would inflate every non-United States market against the anchor.
  • Annualized equity is a reported value for private, illiquid stock. It is not cash received and it cannot be converted into shares, because Anduril publishes no share count, no 409A common value and no strike-price formula.
  • Australia and the United Kingdom carry level-independent and level-dependent factors respectively. Where a market has no salary-bearing public evidence at all, it is left out of the priced table rather than given a manufactured factor.

Variable Pay & Annual Cash Incentive

Anduril publishes no bonus plan of any kind. There is no company-wide formula, no target percentage by level, no company, business-unit and individual weighting and no payout history. Everything below is an observed outcome from employee-submitted records, except the commercial row, and none of it is an Anduril target.

Employee payout timing and history

Reported engineering cash bonuses are so small relative to base that the practical answer for a technical employee is that variable pay is equity, not cash. Averages run between one and four percent of base across L3 to L7, and one of the two Greater Los Angeles slices reports no bonus at all. That does not prove Anduril runs no cash bonus programme for any population; it does show that reported engineering total compensation is overwhelmingly base plus stock. Role family matters more than level here.

Sales and special incentives

Commercial roles behave far more conventionally than engineering. The single public business development observation shows about $23,000 of bonus on a $194,000 base, roughly 12 percent, alongside $57,000 of annualized stock. Anduril publishes no quota structure, commission rate, accelerator or draw arrangement, so on-target earnings for a quota-carrying seller cannot be reconstructed from public data.

Equity — RSUs, PSUs, Options & ESPP

Anduril equity is private, illiquid stock. Public evidence identifies options and restricted stock units on a four-year schedule, and Anduril's own job advertisements say competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers. There is no employee stock purchase plan because there are no publicly traded shares to buy, and there is no plan document, share reserve or strike-price formula on any public record.

  • The formal plan legal name, board approval date, authorised share reserve, outstanding awards, utilisation rate, exercise-price formula and cap table are all absent from public sources. A private company has no obligation to publish any of them.
  • A $61 billion preferred-round valuation cannot be turned into an employee per-share value without the fully diluted share count, the preferred and common rights stack, the current 409A common valuation and the individual grant terms. None of those is public.
  • The July 2026 reports of financing discussions near $100 billion describe talks, not a completed transaction. Employee equity should be marked against the completed $61 billion round rather than the prospective figure.
  • Because the stock is illiquid, the annualized equity values in this report are reported grant economics rather than realized cash. Vesting does not create liquidity at Anduril the way it does at a listed employer.

The publicly observed schedule is a one-year cliff at 25 percent followed by roughly 2.08 percent a month through years two to four. Because refreshers reportedly overlap with the original grant, an employee past the cliff usually holds several partially vested grants at once, which is why annualized equity rather than a single grant value is the meaningful unit here.

Eligibility by hierarchy level

  • Anduril job advertisements state that competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers. The word majority is doing real work: it is not a guarantee for every role, and no minimum eligible level is published.
  • Observed annualized equity by level runs about $53,143 at L3, $102,025 at L4, $159,189 at L5, $166,750 at L6 and $255,137 at L7, implying mechanical four-year values of roughly $213,000 to $1.02 million if grants were flat and non-overlapping.
  • Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President grant values are not reliably public at all. The postings say equity is included; nothing quantifies it, so those rows in this report are cash only.
  • Employee reports consistently say recruiters have far more flexibility on equity than on base salary, which creates real dispersion between lateral hires and internal promotees at the same level.
  • Equity value at Anduril carries mark risk that a listed employer does not have. A grant priced against a $61 billion round is worth something quite different if the next round reprices, and there is no daily market to check it against.

VerifiedThere is no employee stock purchase plan. That absence matters when comparing an Anduril offer with a listed defence prime or a large technology employer, where a 10 to 15 percent discounted purchase plan is often the only equity component an employee can size themselves. At Anduril the equity is entirely employer-granted, entirely private and entirely illiquid until a liquidity event that has not been announced.

Executive Compensation

Anduril files no proxy statement, so there is no Summary Compensation Table, no salary, bonus and stock split, no pay ratio and no say-on-pay vote. The figures below come from United States federal contractor transparency reporting analysed in November 2024, which Anduril itself has cautioned can include cash, bonuses and multiyear equity grants and should not be read as annual earnings.

Reading the package

The $19,167,070 figure has no published split between salary, bonus and equity, and it is an estimated 2021 basis rather than a current year. Anduril has said such contractor-reported figures can package several years of illiquid equity value, which makes any per-year comparison unsafe. Reading it as a current annual package would overstate cash by an unknown margin and understate the mark risk on the equity inside it.

CEO-to-median-employee ratio
Not applicable
Median employee $225,000 · Anduril is privately held and files no proxy statement, so no SEC Item 402(u) chief executive pay ratio exists and none is calculated here. The median shown is the reported median total compensation across all Anduril submissions on a public salary database refreshed on 25 August 2026. The comparison is directional only. The three peer figures are audited proxy totals for calendar 2025 disclosed in 2026 proxy statements; the Anduril figure is a federal contractor transparency total on an estimated 2021 basis that may span several grant years. The historical Anduril number sits in the same order of magnitude as public-prime chief executive pay, which is itself notable for a company of Anduril's age, but it is not year-comparable and should never be placed in the same column without this caveat.

Named Executive Officers & Board

Anduril's senior structure is founder-led and publicly visible by title rather than by pay. The evidenced sequence below the C-suite is Vice President then Senior Vice President; no Executive Vice President layer appears anywhere in the reviewed sources.

Brian Schimpf and Matt Grimm are co-founders in the chief executive and chief operating officer roles, Palmer Luckey is a co-founder without a chief executive title, and Christian Brose serves as chief strategy officer. Michael Galvin appears as a former chief financial officer and Andrea Lessard as a former Senior Vice President in the historical contractor record. The company also uses an Executive Chairman title. None of these individuals has a current compensation disclosure, and the historical figures cover different estimated years, which is why they cannot be summed or ranked as a single-year table.

Board compensation framework

ElementAmountNotes
Annual cash retainerNot publicly disclosedPrivate-company boards file no director compensation table. No retainer figure appears in any reviewed source.
Committee and chair feesNot publicly disclosedNo audit, compensation or governance committee fee schedule is public, and committee membership itself is not published.
Annual equity awardNot publicly disclosedWhether directors receive options or restricted stock, and on what vesting terms, is not disclosed anywhere.
Executive Chairman compensationNot publicly disclosedAnduril uses an Executive Chairman title publicly but publishes no pay associated with it.

Every board compensation field here is genuinely absent rather than estimated. A private company has no obligation to publish director pay, and inventing a retainer from listed-company norms would be the single easiest way to mislead a reader of this report.

Regional heads and other officers

There is no Section 16 officer list, because Anduril has no registered class of equity securities. Current base salary, bonus target, equity grant, ownership stake, severance arrangement and change-of-control term for every named individual are not publicly disclosed. The company also publishes no key managerial personnel table of the kind an Indian listed company would file, because no such requirement applies.

Insider Trades — SEC Forms 3/4/5

Anduril has no publicly traded shares, so no insider trading disclosure regime applies. There are no SEC Forms 3, 4 or 5, no Form 144 notices, no Indian exchange or SEBI filings, no promoter trades and no public employee option exercise notices. The table below is empty because the filings do not exist, not because none were found.

Reading guide

No Section 16 regime while privateForms 3, 4 and 5 attach to a class of securities registered under Section 12. Anduril has none, so directors, officers and ten percent holders file nothing and there is no daily insider transaction record to read.
Secondary sales are private transactionsEmployee and early-investor shares do change hands, but through negotiated secondary transactions constrained by company transfer rules. Transaction-level data is not systematically public and no aggregate volume is disclosed.
Demand is not liquiditySecondary reporting in 2025 and 2026 describes strong buy-side interest in Anduril shares alongside transfer restrictions and limited execution. An employee should not treat a broker indication as a guaranteed exit price.
Valuation marks move in steps, not ticksThe completed May 2026 Series H at $61 billion roughly doubled the prior mark in one event. Private equity value reprices at financing events rather than continuously, which changes how an employee should think about timing and concentration risk.

Benefits & Perks

Anduril publishes country benefit tabs for the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, which confirms employment infrastructure in each. The pages are descriptive rather than numeric: almost no percentage, day count or sum insured is stated, so the benefit picture is well evidenced in kind and poorly evidenced in amount.

United States

  • MedicalMedical, dental and vision at little to no employee cost. Described that way on the careers page and in current postings, alongside primary and virtual care access. Carrier, plan tiers, deductibles and employee premium contributions are not published. [official]
  • RetirementTraditional 401(k), Roth and after-tax contributions. United States postings reference an after-tax option supporting a mega backdoor Roth conversion. The employer match percentage is not stated in any authoritative public material and is deliberately not estimated here. [official]
  • FamilyFamily planning support including fertility, adoption and gestational carrier. Fertility services, fertility preservation, adoption and gestational-carrier support are all named. Reimbursement caps and lifetime maxima are not published. [official]
  • LeavePaid time off, sick time and company holidays. Older postings and employee discussion reference 16 weeks of caregiver and wellness leave, but more recent anonymous reports suggest eligibility may have changed. Treat the current duration as something to confirm in writing at offer stage. [reported]
  • SupportMental health, life and disability cover, and professional development. Therapy and life-coaching style support, broader work-life services, life insurance, disability cover, professional-development reimbursement, region-dependent commuter benefits, role-dependent relocation and daily meals at some sites. [official]

Global programs

  • EquityPrivate equity grants in the majority of full-time offers. The single largest non-cash element of an Anduril package, and the one that separates it most sharply from a traditional defence employer. [official]
  • Country coveragePublished benefit tabs for seven countries. United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. The Japan, Taiwan and South Korea tabs confirm active employment infrastructure without exposing a single numeric term. [official]
  • WellbeingMental health resources and work-life support. Therapy and life-coaching style support appear across country descriptions rather than as a single global programme document. [official]
  • GrowthProfessional development reimbursement. Named in United States and Australian materials. No annual cap is published in any market. [official]
  • MobilityRelocation assistance depending on role. One public Seattle offer included $20,000 of relocation alongside base, bonus and a four-year equity grant. There is no published relocation schedule. [reported]

Benefit fields not publicly quantified

The 401(k) employer match percentage, the current United States paid caregiver and parental leave duration, United Kingdom and Ireland pension match percentages, Australian superannuation above the statutory guarantee, every insurer name and sum insured, and the complete Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Ireland numeric schedules are all absent from Anduril's public pages. India has no published benefit schedule at all, because the India presence is a remote expansion role rather than an established local employing entity. These are recorded as not publicly disclosed rather than filled in from market norms.

Performance Review & Pay Progression

Anduril publishes no performance rating scale, no forced distribution, no promotion tenure matrix and no compensation review calendar. What exists publicly is employee description of the cycle, which is useful for understanding mechanics and useless as an entitlement.

Not publicly disclosed

There is no published rating scale and no rating labels, so no rating-to-increase table can exist.
There is no published distribution or bell curve. One anonymous estimate describes roughly 10 percent below, 60 percent meets, 20 percent exceeds and 10 percent exceptional, which is a single unverified report.
The merit budget, the salary review effective date and any country-by-country variation are not disclosed.
No years-per-level promotion schedule is published, and no company-wide 2026 average salary increase, pay freeze or salary cut was found in any source.
Probation, confirmation and notice terms are contract specific and are not published.
Attrition is not disclosed. A private company publishes no quarterly workforce turnover and Anduril has published none.

Employee discussion through 2026 describes an annual performance review carrying both base increases and equity refreshers, with mid-year review activity focused more on promotions. Rough employee-reported markers cluster around 5 percent for meets, 6 percent for exceeds, 7 percent for exceptional and about 10 percent on promotion, with substantial variation. These are anecdotal figures from anonymous forums, not an Anduril policy document, and they should be read as a shape rather than a schedule.

Pay progression evidence

The safest model of Anduril progression is scope-based rather than tenure-based: L3 to L4 on demonstrated independent delivery, L4 to L5 on technical ownership and cross-team leadership, L5 to L6 on staff-level architecture and organisational impact, L6 to L7 on principal-level breadth, and management promotions on team and programme scope. Hard-coding a two-year or three-year cadence as company fact would be wrong. At senior levels the equity refresh matters more than the base increase, and because refreshers are reported to be smaller than new-hire grants, tenure-based equity cliff analysis is the single most useful thing an Anduril employee can do with their own numbers.

H-1B / LCA Visa Footprint — United States

Anduril's H-1B footprint is close to nonexistent, which is consistent with clearance-heavy, export-controlled hiring and a workforce weighted towards United States persons. The entire public record is two certified labour condition applications, so this section is an evidence note rather than a wage distribution.

Certified applications on record

Reading the data correctly

  • With two records, quartiles, dispersion and year-on-year wage growth are all statistically meaningless. This report states the two wages and declines to manufacture percentiles around them.
  • Labour condition application wages are proffered base salary. They exclude the private equity grant that makes up between 24 and 49 percent of an observed Anduril engineering package, so they cannot be compared with a total compensation figure.
  • A labour condition application is a filing, not a hire. Certified applications exceed petitions and petitions exceed actual employees, and neither conversion rate is public for Anduril.
  • Different public trackers report slightly different historical counts for Anduril because of employer-name matching and data refresh rules. That disagreement is preserved here rather than reconciled.
  • Low H-1B volume is a signal about hiring model rather than about pay. Security clearance requirements and export control rules push a defence employer towards United States persons, which suppresses visa sponsorship independently of what the roles pay.

Key Nuances & Insights

01Private means the disclosures do not exist, not that they were missed

There is no proxy statement, so there is no Summary Compensation Table, no chief executive pay ratio, no board pay schedule, no equity plan roll-forward and no Form 4 insider trades. Anywhere this report says not publicly disclosed for those fields, the correct reading is that the filing obligation itself does not apply.

02Posted ranges are base only and say so

Every sampled Anduril advertisement states that the range is base salary and that competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers. Treating a posted range as a total compensation estimate understates a senior engineering package by roughly 40 to 50 percent.

03Equity is the differentiator and the risk

Annualized stock rises from 24.3 percent of the reported package at L3 to 49.4 percent at L7. A cash-only comparison with Lockheed Martin, RTX or Northrop Grumman understates an Anduril offer badly, while ignoring illiquidity and mark risk overstates it just as badly.

04Base bands overlap across the hierarchy

Staff individual contributors, directors and vice presidents occupy overlapping posted base ranges, and the sampled senior director envelope sits inside the sampled director envelope. Scope and equity, not base salary, separate those layers.

05A funding valuation is not an employee share price

The completed $61 billion Series H is high confidence; the reported discussions near $100 billion are talks rather than a transaction. Neither can be converted into a per-share employee value without a fully diluted count, the preferred and common rights stack and a current 409A common valuation, none of which is public.

06Refreshers decide what happens after year four

If employee reports are accurate, annual refreshers prevent a hard post-cliff drop but target refresher values sit below new-hire grants. That makes tenure-based equity modelling the most useful private calculation an Anduril employee can run, and it is not something the company publishes.

07New-hire equity is negotiable in a way base is not

Anonymous negotiation reports consistently describe far more recruiter flexibility on the grant than on base salary. The predictable consequence is dispersion between lateral hires and internal promotees at the same level, invisible in any aggregate.

08Technical and commercial variable pay are different animals

Engineering cash bonuses run one to four percent of base in observed data, while the single public business development observation shows about 12 percent. Reading one population as evidence for the other is the most common mistake in Anduril compensation commentary.

09International transparency is asymmetric by law, not by policy

United States ranges are visible because pay transparency statutes require them in Anduril's posting practice. United Kingdom, Australian and Asian data is far thinner. Converting a United States dollar band into local currency and calling it a local salary band would be false precision, and this report does not do it for any market without local evidence.

10Australia is a core geography, not a sales outpost

The Ghost Shark programme, the 7,400 square metre Sydney factory opened in October 2025 and an engineering team that reached 121 people on that programme in 2024 make Australia the most significant non-United States market by activity, even though its pay evidence is the weakest of the three priced countries.

11India is emerging, not established

A remote Global Supply Chain Integration Lead role explicitly supports Anduril's India expansion and supplier partnerships. That is a real signal of intent and it is not enough to build an India band table. No India office, salary band, equity practice or benefit schedule is publicly established.

12Senior Vice President is the evidenced pre-C-suite layer

Anduril uses Senior Vice President publicly and repeatedly. No reliable evidence of a standard Executive Vice President tier was found, so this report shows that layer as not evidenced rather than importing it from other companies.

13Contractor disclosures are rare visibility with a real trap

United States federal contractor transparency reporting is the only window onto Anduril executive pay, and its figures can bundle several years of equity value. Anduril has said so itself. They are worth reporting and dangerous to annualise.

14H-1B silence is a hiring-model signal

Two labour condition applications in five years is not a pay signal. It reflects clearance and export-control driven hiring towards United States persons, and it means the visa wage record cannot be used as a cross-check on Anduril bands the way it can at a large technology employer.

Research control

Against the listed defence primes, Anduril pays a comparable or higher cash base for senior technical work and then adds a private equity component those employers do not offer at anything like the same weight. The reported L7 package of $516,837 is far above a typical prime principal engineer, but roughly half of it is illiquid stock marked at a private round. Against large technology employers the comparison inverts: Anduril cash is competitive and its equity carries no daily price, no employee stock purchase plan discount and no scheduled liquidity. On the executive side the historical $19.17 million chief executive figure sits in the same range as the $23.45 million to $25.36 million paid by Lockheed Martin, RTX and Northrop Grumman in 2025, which is striking for a company of Anduril's size and age, but it is an estimated 2021 aggregate rather than a comparable annual total.

Known gaps and diligence before relying on a cell

  1. 1The bundle contains one research report and one structured data file rather than several independent bundles, so there is no cross-bundle disagreement to reconcile on the band figures. Where the two disagree, the narrative report is preferred because its figures are traceable to a named source.
  2. 2The structured data file carries a $2.2 billion FY2025 revenue figure that the narrative report neither states nor sources. It is recorded here as unverified and is not used in any metric or calculation.
  3. 3United States city slices are small and not internally monotonic. Boston L6 reads below Boston L5 and Seattle L6 reads below Seattle L5 in the raw data. The Seattle and Boston factors are the mean of the level ratios rather than a level-by-level series, and a reader should not infer that Boston pays a staff engineer less than a lead engineer.
  4. 4L3 and L4 use national averages while L5, L6 and L7 use the Greater Los Angeles slice, because no Los Angeles observation exists at the two junior levels. That mixes two sampling frames inside one anchor column, and it is flagged on each band row.
  5. 5The Australian factors are built from low-confidence third-party estimates rather than Anduril observations, and the linear interpolation from 0.46 at the most junior band to 0.85 at the most senior slightly understates the mid-ladder observations, where a staff-level estimate implies about 0.72 against a modeled 0.62.
  6. 6Melbourne and Canberra carry the Sydney factors because no city-level Australian observation exists for either. They are shown as one national market rather than given invented city differentials.
  7. 7London uses a flat factor because the only public London evidence is an all-level median package. There is no level-by-level London series to support a compression curve, so no baseFactorTop is set.
  8. 8Director, senior director and vice president rows are cash only. Anduril states that equity is included in the majority of full-time offers but never quantifies it at those levels, so those totals understate the real packages by an unknown amount and are excluded from the range chart.
  9. 9L8 and senior vice president rows carry no figures at all. Interpolating them from adjacent levels would have produced plausible numbers with no evidence behind them.
  10. 10No employer benefit load is included anywhere in this report. Superannuation, pension, medical premiums and payroll taxes are employer cost rather than pay, and adding them would inflate the Australian and United Kingdom columns against the anchor.
  11. 11Anduril discloses no geographic revenue split, so no regional revenue panel is shown and none is reconstructed from the funding or contract record.
  12. 12Several evidenced locations are absent from the priced table entirely because they have no public pay observation of any kind: Llanbedr in Wales, Dublin, Brussels, Tokyo, Okinawa, Taipei, Riyadh and the emerging India presence. Singapore was checked and no significant current Anduril location was evidenced in the reviewed open-role list.

Recent News & Workforce Trend

Anduril's 2026 has been dominated by valuation and capacity rather than by a compensation event. No company-wide salary action, hike percentage, pay freeze or attrition disclosure was found in any reviewed source, and a private company is not required to publish any of them.

Anduril publishes no annual headcount series, so this panel is a set of dated workforce signals rather than a fiscal-year trend. The two Australian figures are programme and country subsets and must not be read as company-wide points on the same curve. The one company-wide figure, 7,000 employees across 35 locations in January 2026, comes from a state government release rather than from Anduril.
